Pool Information
Grand Peninsula has two community pools. A large resort style pool with a kiddie pool and tanning ledge located at 2550 N. Grand Peninsula Drive, and a smaller and slightly deeper pool at 2711 Bridgewater Drive. Pools can be accessed with electronic pool cards and key ring pool fobs. To purchase your own pool access device, click on the button below.
Our pools are our most valuable, and most costly common area in Grand Peninsula. Please treat them as if they were your own, because they are! We all pay for the maintenance and repair of the pool areas with our dues. If you see someone behaving in an irresponsible manner, or damaging the common areas, please ask them to stop. It's only by working together that we can keep our community pools in top shape.
Our pools are monitored by video surveillance to assist in prosecution of crimes and identification of rules violations. In addition to our pool technicians who are on site several times a week, we have installed automatic computerized systems which continually monitor and control several variables of pool water quality, including clorine and pH. Data is continuously uploaded by satellite feed to allow us to maintain a permanent hour by hour record. Because water quality is important to us, this system far exceeds the requirements of the Grand Prairie Environmental Services and Health Departments.
Pool Emergencies
For true emergencies, there are emergency 9-1-1 phones located at each pool area. The location of each emergency phone is indicated on signage at the pool areas. Additionally, we are required to keep a shepherd's crook and life rings readily available for emergency use. These are not toys. Please do not allow your children to play with them. They are important safety devices required by law.
If you have reason to believe there is a mechanical or health concern, or possible biological contamination of a pool, please immediately contact the manager at (972) 943-2828 to report the problem. If it is after hours, please follow the prompts to be directed to the on-call manager's message system.
Know This Before Ordering...
Absolutely No Refunds Will Be Given on pool access device orders. Due to the costs associated with processing orders and mailing out the cards, we cannot offer refunds. So if you have any doubt about what you want to order, DO NOT ORDER.
Limit on Number of Pool Access Devices per House
Each address in Grand Peninsula may have only two (2) active devices at a time. If you purchase additional pool access devices, they can be kept as inactive spares, but they cannot be activated. Due to efforts to expedite the issuance of pool access devices, you can purchase them online through PayPal. We cannot, however, offer refunds or exchanges on these devices, even if you accidentally order more than two (2) devices. Therefore, if you are unsure of how many pool cards or fobs have been issued to your specific address, or if you need to report a lost or stolen access device, please contact the manager at (972) 943-2828 before ordering!
Delivery of Pool Access Devices Ordered
While anyone at a Grand Peninsula address can order and pay for an access device, be advised that once ordered, all devices are mailed out to the official owner of record, at the official mailing address on file at the management office. Therefore, if you are a tenant who has requested a card, you may order it, but you will need to make arrangements for the owner of the property to send you the card once they have received it. To confirm receipt of a pool access device, please contact the management office at (972) 943-2828, or by emailing poolcards@grandpeninsula.net.
All cards and key fobs are mailed out inactive, and can be activated during normal business hours once you have acknowledged receipt of the access device.
Deactivation of Access Devices for Delinquencies and/or Rules Violations
If you owe the Association money and are not adhering to an approved payment plan, or if you do not obey the Association rules (including but not limited to the pool rules), your access devices may be disconnected at the sole discretion of the Association. Please be sure not to allow others into the pool area, even if they appear to have a card, since they may have a card which has been intentionally disabled by the Association.
You are Responsible for People Using Your Devices
Residents are responsible for anyone entering the pool area with a card assigned to their home. If you sell your home, please return your access device(s) to:
Grand Peninsula Owners Association, Inc.
c/o RTI/CMA Management Associates, Inc.
2555 SW Grapevine Parkway, Suite 300
Grapevine, TX 76051
Failure to return the access device means it is still linked to your name, and you are still responsible for damages done to the common areas by another person using the device.
